Bowalds Energy and Suez International - Train Forty (40) Nigerian Engineers in Oil and Gas Produced Water Treatment Management in Lagos Nigeria for free
Bowalds Energy and Suez International train forty (40) Nigerian technical professionals from more than twenty-five (25) companies including International and local operators in a 2-day Master class on Produced Water Treatment (Management) in Lagos, Nigeria, on the 23rd and 24th of October, 2017.
The free training was organised and sponsored by Bowalds Energy – Suez International alliance, supported by UK’s Department for International Trade (DIT), and took place at the prestigious Four-Points By Sheraton, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The training was aimed at:
Developing in-country Nigerian local technical expertise.
Supporting human capital development for the growing Independent/ Indigenous operators across the entire Oil and Gas value chain.
Increasing the understanding of produced water and other environmental issues.
Increasing local industry awareness in produced water handling options and strategies.
Ensuring produced water is treated to international standard/ spec prior to disposal.
Preserving the environment for the next generation.

The training promotes the exchange of technical knowledge on current, proven and new technologies through technical presentations, workshop sessions and followed by extended questions and answers periods.
It also involved high level engagements by the delegates and presenters, and very robust discussions on how best to handle future produced water challenges facing the Oil and Gas Exploration and Production industry in Nigeria.
The closing event and attendance-certificate presentation was done by the very dynamic and global role model, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign affairs and Diaspora, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, with a goodwill message from the Presidency.
